Architectural Assistant
Vanessa Ho is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant and recent BSc Architecture graduate (2:1) from University College London (The Bartlett School of Architecture). She brings a calm, organised and collaborative approach to studio work, with a strong interest in clear visual communication and user-focused design.
Her academic training has provided a solid grounding in design development, visual storytelling and architectural representation, supported by award-recognised work in narrative-led design. Vanessa is particularly skilled in translating design ideas into clear drawings, diagrams and presentation material, supporting both internal design development and external communication.
Professionally, Vanessa has gained experience as an Assistant Interior Designer, contributing to early-stage concept development, producing image and material boards, hand sketches and visual content for client presentations, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors. She has also undertaken virtual work experience with Morgan Sindall Property Services, where she worked collaboratively on an accessible housing project, strengthening her understanding of teamwork, time management and inclusive design principles.
Vanessa is proficient in Rhino, Blender and Adobe Creative Suite, with strong skills in graphic layout, document preparation and digital presentation. Within the project team, she will support the Project Architect and Part 2 Assistant with CAD/3D drawing production, diagrams, schedules, document control and presentation material, contributing to the efficient delivery of a clear and well-coordinated planning submission.
