Business Development Executive
At Creative Prototyping Unit, we fuse creativity and strategy to bring meaningful ideas to life. As we expand our presence across the UK and international markets, we’re looking for a Business Development Executive to join our growing team. This role is key in building strong commercial relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the studio’s long-term growth.
We welcome candidates with international experience and cultural fluency, especially those who can connect with both local and global client bases.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills and levels of experience:
1–2+ years of experience in business development, project coordination, or client relationship roles;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in cross-cultural contexts;
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and stay organized;
Experience in creative industries (architecture, design, consulting) is a plus;
Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or experience working with Chinese-speaking clients is highly desirable;
Eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities:
Identify and engage new clients and project partners, including within the UK-China design and development network;
Support client communications, relationship management, and business negotiations;
Prepare pitch materials, project proposals, and presentation decks;
Collaborate with the creative and project teams to align messaging and project strategy;
Conduct market and client research to support strategic decision-making;
Maintain progress records using CRM tools and assist in reporting to company leadership.
