BESU Club

- Kensington and Chelsea

Conceived as both a dining destination and a community venue, this project combines a light-filled vegan café with a versatile multi-function hall designed for events, assemblies, and conferences. The brief called for a holistic approach—one that balances contemporary hospitality design with technical performance.

The café-restaurant offers a welcoming environment where guests can enjoy plant-based meals in a space defined by bespoke furniture, fixtures, and crafted detailing. In contrast, the adjoining event hall provides an adaptable backdrop for gatherings of all scales, with careful attention given to acoustics, ventilation, and spatial flexibility.

Materiality, lighting, and proportion are orchestrated to create an atmosphere that feels both modern and restorative. Natural finishes and custom FF&E enrich the tactile quality of the interiors, while integrated systems ensure comfort and performance. The result is a space that is as practical as it is uplifting—designed to host moments of connection, reflection, and shared experience.

This project exemplifies CPU’s ethos: weaving together functionality, sustainability, and narrative to craft environments where people can gather, recharge, and belong.
